The introduction of bulk transport of coffee triggered the development of coffee silos -- a vision advanced by the Pacorini family of Italy and which continues to drive today's Silocaf operations, both in the United States and its native Italy.

Vision
More than a decade ago, the Pacorini Company in Trieste, Italy envisioned a new concept for coffee processing, and Silocaf was born.  The company introduced its high-tech methods to the United States in the early 1990s, and its vision of unparalleled quality continues to be realized every day.  Silocaf prides itself on removing a burden from its clients, who no longer have to concern themselves with cleaning and blending.  They know they'll get the finest ready-to-roast product possible, achieved by a fully computerized blending system offering higher consistency -- and greater speed -- than could be reached with the industry's previous systems.

And our clients no longer require extensive storage capacity.  Instead, they allow Silocaf to house their product -- whatever the quantity -- and prepare it for immediate, "just-in-time" delivery with same day notice.
